For Byldis we are looking for a (commercial) CEO to lead their journey to the forefront of innovative and sustainable construction solutions! Byldis is a mid-size company active in engineering, precast concrete, and facade technology. The company is Dutch born (HQ in Veldhoven) and operates in The Netherlands, UK, Germany, Belgium and The Nordics. The CEO will be a driving force behind the future growth of Byldis. He/she will be responsible for providing strategic (commercial) leadership and direction and will be driving growth, profitability, operational excellence and long-term sustainability. This role requires a visionary but also a very pragmatic CEO with a deep understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record of successful (commercial) leadership.

- Develop and execute the company’s strategic and commercial plan to achieve growth and profitability.
- Provide pragmatic leadership and guidance to the senior management team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Oversee the company’s commercial and financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Represent Byldis in industry events, conferences, and public relations activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Drive initiatives to enhance sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Functie-eisen
Background and experience:
- Proven experience as a CEO or in other senior commercial managerial positions within the construction industry, preferably in midmarket companies.
- Successful track record in driving commercial growth and building and leading high performing commercial teams.
- Strong understanding of finance and performance management principles.
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as sales, PM, operations, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of governance and general management best practices.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
