Merel is a Senior Manager within Boer & Croon’s Strategy & Transformation practice. She brings a sharp analytical mindset, hands-on pragmatism, and a collaborative spirit to solving complex strategic and organizational challenges. With experience at BCG in Copenhagen and across sectors such as financial services, energy, and tech, she thrives at the intersection of structure and change.

Merel has led operating model redesigns, transformation programs, and commercial due diligences across Europe. She is particularly passionate about enabling ownership and simplifying complexity to drive real impact. Whether guiding a leadership team through strategic repositioning or co-developing a PMO with operational teams, Merel combines strategic depth with an eye for execution.

She holds a Master's degree in Offshore and Dredging Engineering from TU Delft and has a background in industrial design and mechanical engineering. Outside of work, Merel enjoys connecting with others over good food and is most at home in the outdoors—whether kitesurfing, hiking, sailing, cycling, or camping off the grid.
