Frans van Heesbeen

Frans is an HR executive with extensive experience within several (inter)national organisations. He has always focused on change, culture, and leadership. He has a proven track record in defining and executing successful HR strategies and working with private equity.

Frans worked, among other things, at a joint venture of Philips and AT&T, the General Employers' Association, KPMG, and NXP Semiconductors (Philips' former semiconductor division). After starting for himself as an interim manager, he was asked to oversee the upcoming split-off of a business unit of NXP (later called Ampleon).

'This was a tremendously exciting time. The company to be spun off had - apart from excellent employees - almost nothing of its own. No IT infrastructure, no payroll, no own contracts with external suppliers, no company name, etc. There is also no in-house IT, finance, communications, or legal staff in the supply chain, sourcing, HR, etc. We had to set all this up at the same time. This has resulted in a new leading company in RF Power.'

After working hours, Frans, formerly an avid alpinist, can often be found cycling in the great outdoors. He also enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and reading a good book.
