Diederick van Mierlo

Diederick has led the Transformation & Restructuring Solution since August 2022. After an international internship at ABN AMRO, Diederick joined the bank as an employee. He held over 15 positions for 30 years. The first 10 years on the commercial side, mainly focusing on large corporates, upper middle market and large international corporates. The last 19 years he worked within risk management and for a long time he was chairman of ABN AMRO's highest credit committee, where all major credit decisions are made.

Diederick operates at the intersection of legal and economic processes. He is a strategic thinker with a focus on results for the client and all other stakeholders. With his experience in complex financial restructurings and his excellent contacts with both the banking world and financial regulators, he is able to assist companies in realising a solid financial foundation.

Outside working hours, Diederick is a very passionate sailor. Every week he sails in competition. In winter, he skis a lot and, together with his wife, he is an active member of Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
