Bastiaan Hoogendoorn

Bastiaan is responsible for the four executive search companies in the holding company: YESS, Vanderkruijs, De Vroedt & Thierry and Boer & Croon Executive search. In addition, as a partner of De Vroedt & Thierry, he is an active executive searcher at the top end of the market.

After his studies, he started his career in various management positions within the Netherlands, Paris, and Hong Kong cargo divisions. Later, he became responsible for marketing in the management of KLM Benelux. After this, he became managing director of Oad, an investment company that had taken over after bankruptcy. Under his leadership, the company became profitable again. Bastiaan took a new direction: executive search.

Within his commercial positions, Bastiaan noticed how important it is to have the right person in the right place. The search for growth and improvement remains an essential thread in his career. In addition, his business insights play an important role. He understands how a company works and why it is successful. That is an essential insight that helps in finding a suitable company. And finally, he finds the human factor extremely interesting. It fascinates him to be able to put his finger on what drives people and how they function in a team.

Besides his work, Bastiaan enjoys spending time with his family, riding his racing bike for miles, and kickboxing.
