Young Executive for Boer & Croon
Are you motivated to improve organisations sustainably and want to learn new things daily? Do you have guts, energy, and healthy self-confidence? Can you get people on board with your actions and ideas? Do you want to focus on both personal and content development? Then we offer you that opportunity!
Job description
As a Young Executive, you will be part of the Young Executive Business Unit together with around 60 other colleagues. In this role, you will be responsible as project or programme manager for successfully executing various assignments. The assignments vary in duration and are usually carried out full-time at the client's premises. Often, it is an individual assignment, sometimes in a team with another Young Executive Manager or collaboration with an interim manager of Boer & Croon. Depending on the assignment, the advising, managing and implementing ratio will vary. Every assignment is tailor-made, and we have defined four areas of work: programme and project management, process management, interim management and consultancy.
As a Young Executive, you must be able to quickly find your way around different organisations to solve management bottlenecks and help clients move forward. You enter the client's premises, conduct research, make an analysis, identify the problem and advise the client on a solution. You then implement your advice together with the people on the floor. Creating support and having a feel for relationships and the environment is essential. We entrust you with challenging assignments that give you high independence, and you will make a difference.
During your assignments as a Young Executive, you will explore several domains for 2.5 years. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to solve issues within the following Solutions, as we call our areas of expertise: Operations, People Excellence, Strategy & Transformation, Public, Healthcare and Finance & Technology.
You will learn the most if you gain direct practical experience and continue to learn continuously. In addition to your assignment, you will follow an extensive Young Executive Leadership Programme that includes soft- and hard-skills training and a focus on intervention and coaching.
The training courses focus on personal leadership, communication skills and professional advice. In addition, there is a focus on PowerPoint, Excel, and Prince II / Agile foundation, and you are given all the tools you need for problem-solving and programme and project management. The Talent Manager will guide you in your professional and personal development. In addition, for each assignment, you will be paired with a senior colleague who, based on experience and expertise, will supervise the content of the assignment. You will be part of a peer review group where you will discuss practical situations with an external coach, get a grip on guarding your limits and ensure a good balance.
As icing on the cake, there is also room for training courses of your choice that match your profile, and we provide exciting master classes to enrich your knowledge.
In the final phase of your Young Executive Leadership Program, we will work together towards your next career step, such as Manager at Boer & Croon!
