Your Role as Manager CFO Services
As a Manager within CFO Services, you act as a strategic sparring partner to CFOs and senior stakeholders at our clients. You support critical decision-making and translate strategic objectives into tangible actions and implementations.You take the lead in complex transformation projects, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including C-level executives, internal client teams, and external partners. Your goal is to drive strategic financial initiatives that are efficient, impactful, and of the highest quality. Leveraging your financial expertise, you implement process improvements, ensure successful execution, and foster a culture of continuous improvement at the individual, team, and leadership levels.You are a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic client environments, initiating and guiding meaningful change. You will be at the heart of transformation, shaping the finance functions of the future.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic financial transformation projects at clients.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment and collaboration across departments.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify key trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement strategies for process optimisation and organisational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and quality standards.
- Support clients in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to client executives and boards on project progress and outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Co-authoring proposals, pitches, and whitepapers
- Helping develop new service propositions
- Mentoring and coaching junior colleagues in their growth and development

As a (Senior) Manager, you’ll be part of our CFO Services team—one of the key Solutions within Boer & Croon. We support CFOs and their teams in becoming strategic business partners by leading and accelerating transformation journeys.
You’ll work closely with clients to optimise finance operations, design future-proof finance functions, and implement smarter ways of working. Our approach is hands-on: we don’t advise from the sidelines—we roll up our sleeves and work side-by-side with client teams to deliver lasting impact.

Who you are?
- You hold a completed Master’s degree (MSc) in Finance, Business Economics, Business Administration, Quantitative Finance, Financial Economics/Management, Accounting, Controlling, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- You have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an internal or external consultancy or advisory role. This Manager position is ideally suited as a second or third career step.
- You have demonstrable experience in project management, risk management, and financial transformation.
- You are familiar with ERP systems and financial software.
- You have experience in stakeholder management and building lasting client relationships.
- You have led teams or projects and have an affinity for organisational change.
- You are fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
