Your Role as (Senior) Business Development Manager
As a (Senior) Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for further expanding our network within the financial and business services sector. At Boer & Croon, we focus on transformation challenges in this sector, including Dutch banks, insurers, pension funds, financial market infrastructure providers, and business services companies.You will drive new business development, with a strong focus on expanding existing client relationships and contributing actively to our growth strategy. You will work closely with the Sector Lead Partner, sector partners, and account leads.Sales Strategy & Positioning- Develop and execute a forward-looking sales strategy
- Design compelling value propositions and increase brand visibility through channels such as LinkedIn and our website
- Contribute structurally to sustainable revenue growth
- Identify and seize new commercial opportunities
- Strengthen existing client relationships and respond proactively to market developments
- Conduct market analyses and translate insights into targeted sales initiatives
- Develop and implement key account plans
- Deepen relationships with existing clients
- Organise and attend networking events
- Grow our professional network within the relevant sectors
- Support Young Executives in sales processes and client intakes
- Facilitate the matching of client needs with the right talent
- Ensure the optimal deployment of our professionals
- Draft and manage client contracts
- Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and financial plans

Job requirements
Who Are You?
You are entrepreneurial, results-driven, and have a natural ability to engage and connect with people. Additionally, you bring:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a commercial role within the financial or business services sector
- A completed university or university of applied sciences (HBO) degree
- An active presence in the financial and/or business services market
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to both support and take the lead
- Excellent communication skills and strong persuasiveness
- The ability to operate at both tactical and strategic levels
