Job description

The Manager position is twofold: on the one hand, you work substantively on a project, and on the other hand, you help build the Supply Chain and operations proposition in the market. This means that, as a manager, you advise, implement, and realise at clients while at the same time taking action internally at Boer & Croon.At our customers, managers realise the strategy of organisations. This can be realisation plans, strategic roadmaps and portfolio management. If a choice is made, Managers also design the programme management organisation (PMO) to bring about the change while managing it well. We do this from the inside out. Managers report to the client and are temporarily part of their organisation. You will mainly do assignments in this field as a specific focus area in Operations. Here, the focus is both on the process side, to devise and implement efficiency measures, and on the people side, to realise a continuous improvement culture and to bring people along, inspire and increase adoption for changes.

The position of manager of Supply Chain & Operations is varied and challenging. You carry out assignments with clients independently and as part of a team. You have a safety net within Boer & Croon. You will develop on a substantive and commercial level through close cooperation with colleagues and an experienced group of associate partners of Boer & Croon. Combining a challenging environment and appropriate support significantly boosts your leadership skills.

Job requirements

Education and experience:

  • University degree, ideally in business administration, economics or engineering;
  • At least three years' work experience as a project manager or consultant;
  • Affinity with Operational Excellence or change processes.
  • Pre: Experience in manufacturing, logistics, food or supply chain.
  • Plus: Experience in leading projects
  • Pre: Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certification

Terms of employment

  • When you join Boer & Croon as a manager, the salary range is between 3750 - 5400 euros gross per month (based on 40 hours), depending on years of work experience.
