Job description
As Director of MS North Netherlands, you will be the driving force behind increasing awareness of our proposition in the market. You are committed to placing your talent on challenging assignments and coaching them to success. You will also be actively involved in client assignments yourself as a trusted advisor to research client needs and tailor our services accordingly.
As a Director, you will be part of the Public solution, focusing on clients in the (semi-)public sector. Within this sector, we mainly do assignments in operations and execution. Think about translating ambitions and policy into concrete improvements at a core department, municipality, or implementing organisation. In addition, you feel at home in the North and are, at the same time, the connecting factor with our head office in Amsterdam.

Boer & Croon has long had an office in Groningen, serving the northern provinces of Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe. The region is developing rapidly, and at the same time, there is tightness in the labour market. Boer & Croon has the ambition to contribute to this challenge by deploying talent. We are therefore looking for a Director MS North Netherlands who, together with partner North Netherlands Willemijn Broerse, will expand Management Solutions in the northern region.
Job requirements
Education and experience:
- 10+ years of working experience as an (internal) consultant in the field of consultancy;
- Affinity with northern culture and living in the region;
- Experience in different sectors, Healthcare, Government or Energy;
- You have a university education, ideally in a business, economic or political background;
- With your network and expertise, you are a substantive and connecting discussion partner for our (potential) clients;
- You know how to spot and capitalise on commercial opportunities;
- Problem-solving qualities and influencing ability to realise outcomes;
- Enterprising and independent;
- You are energetic, curious, set challenging goals and dare to fail;
- You have well-developed relational qualities, both to collaborate effectively in teams and to build long-term client relationships;
- You have the personality and leadership qualities to inspire, motivate and manage a team.
Terms of employment
What can you expect from us?
- Gross annual salary, including holiday allowance between €75,000 - €100,000 (based on 40 hours), depending on your work experience;
- In addition, as Director, you can receive up to 40% of your gross salary as variable remuneration, depending on performance and commercial results;
