Dennis studied business administration at the Erasmus University. He started his career in 2002 at Lidl as Operations Manager. Between 2005 and 2010, he held various operations positions at Zeeman Textile Stores and as a Senior Interim Professional at Yacht. In 2011 he moved to Gwynt where he was a Principal in the MT and led the Retail & Wholesale team. He was a sparring partner for directors, boards, supervisory boards and entrepreneurs. At Gwynt, Dennis has supervised more than 40 projects, from sharpening the (formula) strategy and positioning to implementing organisational changes and achieving structural improvement in commercial, operational and financial performance. He has also been chairman of several expert groups at Shopping Tomorrow and initiator of Gamechangerz by Gwynt. Gamechangerz offers solutions to work in a customer-oriented way in order to remain relevant and future-proof.

'It is my passion to solve management issues together with clients and to implement real changes. Realising growth ambitions and real breakthroughs for clients is my main motivation. As far as I am concerned, the combination of substantive expertise, customisation and people work is the key to prosperity and growth. A good example is the project I recently supervised at Horticoop's substrate company Lensli. It started with a strategy review and setting up a growth programme. We then appointed an interim director to accelerate implementation and worked on commercial and operational excellence. Lensli is now growing with a focus on sustainability and has a healthy proposition for the future. I look back on this with great pleasure.'

'I would like to work for companies in the Retail & Wholesale, Agri- and Food industry. These are market sectors that are in full swing and where people are needed who can get things moving. What appeals to me at Boer & Croon is that the emphasis is on 'getting things done'. No bulky reports therefore, but actually doing things as the best way to get people and processes moving and to realize changes. I feel at home in such a club.'

Haico Spijkerboer, partner at Boer & Croon: 'With Dennis we are getting the right person to realise Boer & Croon's growth ambition and to further expand and strengthen the Operations Solution.'

Dennis lives in Rhoon and has two daughters together with his wife Emma. He enjoys travelling and cycling and likes to make beautiful cycle trips in the mountains.
