Boer & Croon appoints Eva den Hartog as partner People & Change
Eva den Hartog started as a partner in the People & Change practice, Boer & Croon's youngest area of expertise.

After studying Strategic Human Resource Management at Utrecht University, Eva den Hartog started at ABN AMRO in the Retail branch. She then moved to Deloitte, where she focused on programme and change management and developing new organisational models. In 2022, Eva moved to Boer & Croon. There, she led the Young Executive Business Unit and was responsible for revising the management development programme.
What makes Boer & Croon's People & Change practice unique?
'Our practice optimises human capital and guides organisations through complex changes. People often very much look forward to a change, while it actually offers an opportunity to grow, connect and prepare the organisation for the future.
We believe that the key to successful change lies not only in processes and strategies, but especially in guiding the people who must embrace it. Our people-centred approach ensures that employees not only understand what is changing but actively contribute to the process.'
'In a change process, we work with the organisation, managers, employees and as a team. Top-down and bottom-up. That is traditionally Boer & Croon's way of working and why clients choose us. Because it leads to sustainable results and a learning organisation.'
What are your ambitions in this new role?
'I am curious, diligent, and want to tackle things. What I have to watch out for is tempering myself. In a world where we are desired to react immediately, I sometimes forget to observe. But I believe that real leadership, and real change start there: not in acting fast, but in conscious actions.'
Together with the client, I want to determine what impact we want to achieve with the change. The approach should fit the organisation's norms, values, and culture. In this way, we can achieve sustainable change. My leadership style, which focuses on collaboration and personal growth, aligns well with our practice's core values. I am convinced we can make a real impact with our people-oriented and pragmatic approach.'
How do you see the future of Boer & Croon and the People & Change practice?
'With the expansion of our service package and the other labels of EPSA NL, think Harbon (digital), we can support organisations with today's and tomorrow's issues. Our clients appreciate our people-focused approach and result orientation. I am proud to be part of this.'
