Bastiaan Hoogendoorn to lead Boer & Croon's combined Executive Search division

Bastiaan Hoogendoorn will join Boer & Croon as Director of Executive Search as of August 19 and will be responsible for the four Executive Search companies in the holding company: YESS, Vanderkruijs, De Vroedt & Thierry and Boer & Croon Executive search. In addition, as a partner of De Vroedt & Thierry, he will continue to actively conduct search activities in the top end of the market.

Bastiaan: “Boer & Croon now has four executive search labels with specific positioning. My job is to leverage this diversity and ensure synergy where possible. This is possible by investing in systems and technology, which allows us to work more efficiently and achieve even better results. Automating processes can help take some of the less challenging, repetitive parts of our work off our hands. This allows more time for clients and makes people enjoy their work more. 

However, the human factor remains crucial in our profession. It all starts with a good understanding of the assignment and ends with the proper guidance for both clients and candidates. Bastiaan studied commercial economics in Groningen and financial business administration at Nyenrode. After his studies, he began his career at KLM as a management trainee and later in various management positions within the cargo division in the Netherlands, Paris, and Hong Kong. He was on the KLM Executive Board in his last position at KLM.
